Area Manager HR

Job Description:

• Collaborate with the corporate recruitment team to develop effective recruitment strategies
• Identify future staffing needs
• Respond to human resources-related inquiries
• Assist with payroll processing
• Handle ER/IR issues
• Administer new employee on-boarding and orientation
• Develop and maintain talent management processes
• Monitor employee morale and company culture
• Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective action if necessary
• Ensure HR policies are communicated and help the business in implementation, adherence and compliance of the same
• Periodic reporting and reviews with business on manpower metrics/ HR audit score
• Drive critical employee and HR management aspects like communication, employee exit, performance management and grievance redressal to facilitate healthy and harmonious culture in the organization
• Understand business expectations, design and drive strategies to align with the same
• Create and own HR budget

Experience:

• 6 to 10 years of managing HR operation for employees (on roll and contract workforce) at city level in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, ecommerce or a large complex environment. The incumbent will lead HR operations for the assigned city and be the owner of HR metrics while supporting business team in expanding operations in city. Willing to travel across the city.

Qualification:

• MBA/Diploma – HR with 6+ years of experience
• Experience in employee relations, adept in statutory compliance
• Multi-location and contract workers handling experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Technical Skills (Essential)

• Compliance / Statutory Knowledge, Contract Staff / Blue Collar workforce Mgmnt experience (handled at least 200 emp), Payroll processing knowledge
